Mission Statement

As a church we seek to:

• encounter God in worship (1 Peter 2,9)

• minister the good news of Jesus to a needy world (Matt 28,19-20)

• be a community of faithful people, bound together by God's love (John 15)

This can be summed up as:

Our vision is to minister the love of Jesus to our world and community


Our desire is to engage with God in the power of His Holy Spirit


Our hope is to operate as one body with many parts united in Christ.



The interaction of the three components of our mission statement, namely our vision, desire and hope produce a distinctive set of values that underpin the kind of church that we are and how we seek to operate and reach out as a church. Such values as:

• Hospitality

• Holiness

• Healing for the world
